Magbana Drum & Dance NYC is a multi-cultural performance group of percussionists and dancers, who will demonstrate how traditional Guinean drum rhythms and dance interrelate. This high-energy performance will describe the cultural contexts in which music and dance co-exist. Magbana’s high-energy performance fuses world percussion with traditional African drum and dance rhythms, martial arts and contemporary dance.
Open to the general public with a $5 suggested donation.
