FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22

Women's Soccer vs. Niagara, Mazzella Field
6:00 pm
Blizzard of Bucks Event, Outside of Hynes Athletics Center (Rain Location: Mulcahy Gymnasium)

Come out and cheer on Iona students as they test their luck in an interactive game show challenge to win cash. They will be placed in a clear tube with money floating around them, any money they can grab is theirs to keep!

7:30 - 8:30 pm:Maroon Madness, Hynes Athletics Center

Come join the Gaels as they kick off the 2010-2011 Basketball Season!!!

The night will feature an introduction of the 2010-2011 Women’s and Men’s teams, skills challenges, and a variety of in-game promotions with plenty of prizes and give a-ways. Highlights also include performances by the Iona College Pipe Band, Cheerleaders, and Dance Team, and announcement of the Homecoming Court!

Cost: Free for current Iona students with ID, $5.00 for non-Iona students, alumni and guests.
(All attendees must have college and/or government issued identification)

 After Maroon Madness, join Iona College students for a Dance Party featuring a NYC DJ playing Top 40s, Hip Hop, Reggae and the Classics! Snacks and finger foods will be available.

Art Exhibition: The Young and the Restless, Part 3, Brother Kenneth Chapman Gallery, Arts Center

This exhibition, curated by Will Corwin, questions the contemporary concepts of medium and artistic practice; by turns each of the artists ponders and re-works the disciplines of painting, drawing, sculpture
and photography. Diverse artists deal with equally diverse issues from colonialism and genocide to aesthetic questions of color, composition
and the nature of light. Admission is free.
